Hi

Sorry to have been away, just been busy.  My lovely husband is now back from San Francisco and I am so pleased to have him home.  It shouldn't make a difference how far away he is but somehow the further it is the worse it feels.

I am counting down the minutes now to the new catalogue launch and I have a wish list as long as my arm.   Will have to pace myself I think.

If you want a FREE catalogue I have two spots left in October for a party if you want one.  Just you and a few friends and you could be enjoying a free class, make and takes, free stamp sets and merchandise and a catalogue all of you own.  Just e-mail me back.   I may even have a little extra prize for you if you name a date TODAY!! I like to reward people who read my blog regularly.

WISH LIST

Do you, like most of us, have a long wish list of things you would so love to get from Stampin' Up.   I am offering a Wish List service.  I will post a PDF of a blank wish list here, you print it off and fill it in - always great fun - then give it to Hubbby, Friend, Sister, Mum, Dad or whoever has no idea what to get you for Christmas and then they can e-mail me an order for you.   You get your goodies on Christmas day all wrapped up by yours truely.   Now that's what I call CHRISTMAS... just have to work out who to give my wish list to - of course, as my 8 year old just pointed out Santa !

Right click on the image on the left and click save as to download as you wish onto your pc.  Then just print it out.

Christmas Already

Time has come to lead up to Christmas. Those cards don't make themselves. This box and set of cards was a project we did at the Crawley Stamp With Us day. It uses the Christmas Jingle Simply Scrapping set. This set is great value with loads of stickers and cardstock and patterned papers. You could easily make all your cards with it.

Hope you like it x

SORTED

At last I have designed and made my swap for convention - all I have to do is make another 50 or so... hope it goes down well.  I had an idea what I wanted that it should be simple, not use too many resources and have a couple of techniques in it (and absolutely NO cutting out!).  With a little inspiration from someone who had an idea along the same lines I think I have cracked it.  I will show it to you after convention as I want it to be a surprise to those I give it to.

Good day today, stroll, lunch, long way home stroll and then made some lovely muffins which I forgot to photograph before we completely demolished them... I must get on that diet soon...

Had some great news from an e-mail yesterday and will explain all when the time comes, but all good at the moment.  Will upload some of the lovely cards we made for christmas at our class in Crawley later.

Have a good weekend.

Good Morning

Hi all. I am typing this on my phone so forgive my typos. Have a busy few days ahead getting ready for the new catalogue launch. Not complaining as really loving the new papers and colours and feeling really inspired by them. I will, however, have to be good and plan my Christmas make and takes for my parties. I also have my swaps for Convention to make ( about 100 is normal apparently arghhh)

Just wanted to say hello to Sarah and Jo who I met last night. Nice to meet some new crafters and welcome if you are reading this.

A certain someone is having a great time in SF too so happy about that.

Life is good especially with a large Starbucks and a pad to plan my week ahead.

Have a treat day too.

Love.

Another Sailing Day

So the eldest is off sailing again and the youngest is reading his new library book so a bit of peace and quiet for a while.   Got another very important text last night so a happy bunny.   Finally have time to go into my craft space and make something with the fantastic new papers and cardstock I have, not to mention the lovely new stamp set.

Hopefully will have pretty piccy to put here when I am finished.

Have a great day.

Good Day

Had dreaded today for reasons I won't go into but turned out ok. My eldest had a great time sailing with the cubs and I spent a lot of time at the lakeside with friends/mums just relaxing and enjoying the nice weather. We even had a little impromptu Birthday party!

Took youngest to the library and he has had his head stuck in one of the books he borrowed most of the afternoon. Easily pleased.

Just got a text I was waiting for ages so not too shabby a day.

Hope you had a good day too. And welcome welsh lady KSH to my blog you know who you are x x x

Life is a bit scary right now but in a very good way and it certainly helps you feel alive.

Oh and my most important news the new catalogues arrive with me on Tuesday so if you are one of the lucky ladies who get a free one you will see it soon drool drool :)

If you want a free catalogue just book a date for your first party with me! Or you can just purchase one. Let me know

Sweet dreams

Managed to play a bit with my new kit this Sunday. LOVING the new clear block stamps. They work really well and are so much better for storage as they come in a DVD box. I am a complete convert. The colours are from the scheme below. Will do something with the so saffron when I get inspiration.

Just click on it to have a look at them.  I have varying amounts of all of them at the moment but obviously they will run out quickly.

FIRST COME GETS FIRST CHOICE!

I am also offering some retiring but slightly used stamp pads for £3, these do match the free cardstock but  these are just ones I no-longer need so very limited numbers, and again it is first come first served.

Home at last

Got home last night and sooo glad it is the weekend, you know what it's like, you have a couple of days away and come home shattered even though you did nothing much.   Nice to have the weekend ahead especially as we have so much to do around the house.

The weather is foul so looks like housework will be first on the list!   I have been promised at least three hours today or tomorrow to play with my new cardstock, Designer Series Paper and inks so I should have something here to show you soon.

Hava a great weekend till then...

NEW IDEA BOOK ANC CATALOGUE

Don't forget the new catalogue is out soon. I am waiting for my order to arrive - I will keep you posted. Don't forget you can order your catalogue NOW and have hours of fun just enjoying looking at it - I know I do...

Weekend

Had a great weekend. My friend Alexandra and I went for a Stampin' Up! workshop in Crawley. Had a brilliant time.  Will show you some of what we made later.   We did four classes, a make and take and had raffles and a quiz (none of which I won ) :(

The whole thing finished at 10 and so we stayed at a local hotel.   At breakfast a few of us decided to go to a local craft shop which had demonstrations etc on.  It was a massive shop and had some very very nice stuff there - I spent £1.49 - HONESTLY!  How good am I?

When we left we made our way home trying to decide where to have lunch and eventually decided on the Oracle Centre in Reading.   As everywhere was busy we ended up at Jamie's Italian.  We had a really good lunch and quite unexpected.  I was totally not dressed for a shopping centre let alone lunch out but it was a lovely casual restaurant so it was meant to be.

Came home fed and happy.

Hope you had as good a weekend as we did.

O M G

I have had a chance to look at the new catalogue and I AM SO EXCITED!!!! We get to order from the new Idea Book and Catalogue on 1st October - I am going to set up a counter on here for that because I can't wait! There is so much great stuff and it is soooo much better than the one we have now (and that one is good). Loads of new stamps, papers, colours, pens, ribbons, buttons, it really is amazing. So check out the counter if I work out how to insert one (this whole thing is a very very steep learning curve) and let me know if you want to order a catalogue, if you haven't already and you can spend hours and hours enjoying looking at it.  OK give up countdown going to take up too much of my time, maybe later x
Ahhhh...

PLEASE VOTE

See the bit on the right of here, I have a bet going so help me out girls...

Peace At Last

I love my kids but am glad they are back in school. Will probably be missing them by lunch time but right now having a quiet coffee alone. Bliss!

That part was a ruse to see if you are reading this and not just looking at the picture. The first two people to e-mail me will get a free new 2010-2011 Stampin' Up Idea Book and Catalogue. Worth £4.95. Just send your address and I will post it. If you don't want me to keep your details I won't. I just want to see who is paying attention and the new catalogue is so fantastic I will be spending hours enjoying it. Ahhhhh back to my coffee.

Order

At last. I just ordered all the new colours. Usually there are just 5 new  In Colours each year but now we have the new Colour Renovation (see below left) we have a great new selection if colours.

Don't forget the retired colours are only available until the end of this month so if like me you love gable green or opulent orchid now is the time to stock up.

Off to the Party now. Cinema first me and 5 kids. Do not like those odds LOL
Rita

HUGE DAY

OK ask any Stampin' Up Demonstrator what is the biggest day of the year.  It's not their birthday, anniversary or even Christmas Day - oh no, it is the day the new Idea Book and Catalogue come out!  Today is the day we get our first glimpse at what we will be able to order next month and I am SOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!

We are finally along the same lines as the Americans and Canadians so we can order the same colours etc..  We now have 225 pages compared to 97 pages last year so so much more to choose from, but we are also loosing a LOT of lovely stamp sets... so.

In the meantime there is equally exciting news, we now have the ONE LAST CHANCE list with up to 50% off some items.   This is the list of stamps and products which will NOT be in the new catalogue.   This means that once they sell out you will not be able to order them, you will not get them after 30th September either (missed out last year on that one!)  So here is the link if you want to have a look at the list.  It is a bit dry and difficult to negotiate if you don't have a catalogue but here it is http://www2.stampinup.com/gb/eng/6900.asp

Let me know if you have any questions or if you want to order anything.

Have fun, I am off to put in a HUGE order myself x x x

And no I didn't forget it is my Son's Birthday Party Today, up at 6 with new nerf gun in my face LOL
